A- Independent Category Most independent class are skilled workers, who are expected to have the skills, education, work experience, language ability and other qualities needed to participate in the Canadian labour market. The selection criteria, known as the "Point System" is based on the following factors:

High proficiency of the English & French languages or one of them supported by proof of IELTS test language exams passed at British Council Center, to have 16 points in English you should have a score of 7/9, or TEF test approved by the CCIP in your area, the maximum for that is 8 points. Bonus points for success: " Graduate degree for an Independent applicant (Masters or PHD) " Married with a spouse holding a university degree; " High proficiency of the French language; " Having a relative living in Canada. B- Family Class Family class candidates are sponsored, and supported financially, by immediate family members who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Canada. C- Business Class A number of changes have been made to the Business Class Category on June 11, 2002, including changes to the definitions of "Investor" and "Entrepreneur". An applicant's net worth must be "legally obtained", and officers will have the authority to examine the propriety of the accumulation of your net worth and the operation and management of your profitable genuine business Canada has a strong economic culture. If you have experience running or investing in businesses, you may qualify to come to Canada as a businessman. Changes to the Investor category will allow applicants to qualify with business or management experience. They will qualify with management experience if they have managed five or more employees. A requirement for "experience" has been incorporated into the definition of self-employed. There are 3 types of business immigrants to Canada:
